A Day in the Life – 52 Project

What does my dog do all day?  Sleep and eat.  LOL.   It’s a great life!  Here are a few snapshots from the weekend.

Favourite Book – Project 52

I decided to use Dr. Seuss’, Yertle the Turtle, picture book cover as my influence for this week’s project.  It was a tough challenge, but wonderfully fun as well.  George decided to remain in his shell the day I took the photos, but he did enjoy the treats afterwards.  LOL.

Shadows – Project 52

It’s rare that I concentrate my focus on shadows, which made this week’s project so much fun!   To create the image, I illuminated a wall with my handy flashlight. 🙂

Joy – Project 52

Happy New Year!  Looking forward to all the surprises, blessings and JOY that 2014 will bring.   Also, very happy to be restarting Project 52 (going into my second year).

Joy is the theme and boy did Xavi get a kick out of this week’s assignment.  His two most favorite things in the world are water and baseballs.  Puddle, pond or pool – doesn’t matter because he’ll figure out a way to get wet.   Never will understand the fascination with baseballs – perhaps it’s because he always comes across one left behind whenever we visit the park.

52-Project-Joy-2014Next up in the blog circle is Barking Lab Studio, Princeton New Jersey dog photography.  Enjoy the weekend!
